Sarut Komalittipong graduated with a B.A in Dramatic Arts from Chulalongkorn University. His first role with B-Floor was in 2008 in “The Other Land” and he has been a core member of B-Floor since 2009.

 

Sarut has performed with B-Floor in numerous productions and has also toured internationally with the company to Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and the USA. Some of his most notable performance credits include “Flu-O-Less-Sense” (2019), “Survival Games” (2012), “San Dan Ka” (2009, 2013, 2014, 2018) and "The (Un)Governed Body" (2019). In addition to his performance work, Sarut co-directed “WW101” with Sasapin Siriwanij in 2015, and was the assistant director for “Taste of Curry” (2011), “The Other Land” (2012), “The Adventure of Yoo Dee” (2014) and “Manoland” (2015). He was also the lighting designer for “Last Gasp of a Mournful Heart” (2013).

He has performed in highly awarded B-Floor productions from the Thai Section of the International Association of Theatre Critics (IATC – Thailand): "Oxygen" (Best Performance by an Ensemble, 2012) and "Something Missing Vol.3 " (Best Movement-Based Performance and Best Performance by an Ensemble, 2017) and The Bangkok Theatre Festival: “San Dan Ka” (Best Movement-Based Performance and Best Performance by an Ensemble, 2013) and “Something Missing” (Best Movement-Based Performance Award, 2015).  

Sarut is trained in Butoh and Viewpoints and is a certified yoga instructor. Outside of his work with B-Floor, he has also performed with many other Thai theatre companies, been featured in Thai TV commercials, the Thai film “Supernatural” (2014) and US film “All I See Is You” (2016). He also works as a Yoga instructor at the Cognitive Fitness Center and Dementia Day Center at Chulalongkorn Hospital.
